REACHING DEEP...

(Reach deep into your heart)
(To find the answers you seek)

"Is this not love?" I question
Perhaps I never saw true
Or perhaps I saw all along
But never knew what to do

Perhaps I was never meant
To live a life like this
Perhaps I'm meant to live in silence
To live alone without you

But insight struck my heart that night
And I saw it all as true
I knew no matter what I said
I'd always be in love with you

You're that special person
Who echos within the night
Who tugs gently at my heartstrings
And sets me right tonight

Though I have not always been true
Nor told you all I might have
It's plain to see within me now
All that I would have

Remember trips to faraway places
Remember trips to home
It's a magical feeling, I'll tell you that
A feeling I've never known

People pull me, lust betrays me
Always taking bite
But now I know, in my new home
I will stand and fight

Lust's control is no more
Now that I have seen
And I know what I've been looking for
And it's in you, it seems

'Cause you're that special person
Who echoes within the night
Who tugs gently at my heartstrings
And sets me right tonight
