THOUGHTS
(August 16th, 2004)
Though I'm here
And so far away
Still I think of you
And dream of a future

Of holding you in my arms
Brushing your hair back
Gazing deep into your eyes
Running my fingers
Across your cheek

Of cuddling beside you
Your body warm against mine
Of feeling your heart beat
Running my fingers
Through your hair

Of dancing with you
Slowly across the room
A soft, slow song playing
Now pulling you closer
Towards me

Of a candlelit dinner
Your eyes sparkling in the light
Our hands meeting across the table
Our feet entwining
Beneath it

Of a park in the night
And us strolling hand in hand
Occasionally stop to kiss
And to hold you
In the night

Of falling asleep with you
Kissing you goodnight
Becoming lost within your eyes
Seeing a smile upon your face
That matchs the one on mine

Seems I can't stop thinking
About you and I together

Of a movie playing on the screen
And us sitting alone
Feeling the other breathing
Hearing their heart beat
Feeling it too

Of a nighttime of passion
You lying on the bed, so beautiful
Candles and incense lit
Loving you and kissing you
All through the night

Of lying in the grass
My arm around you
Just gazing at the stars
And at each other
All night long

Of you and I driving
To new and old places
Seeing this land and others
Exploring all that we want to
Together

Of us sitting by a river
Holding hands and smiling
The sun shining down upon us
The stream gurgling by
And then we kiss

Of walking through the woods
On a winter's eve
Stopping now to play in the snow
Then return to the fire
And to the warm water

Though I'm here
And so far away
Still I think of you
And dream of a future
Where we can explore our love
