BELIEVE IN DREAMS
(August 30th 2004)

I dreamed a dream
A dream of warmth
A dream of love
Let me tell you how it went

I dreamed of a summers eve
Late in the depths of night
Glowing campfire embers
Give light for us to see by

The stars, shining so brightly
Twinkle aboev our heads
And the river rustles by us
Reflecting the moon light

There's nothing left to say
There's nothing left to do
Except hold each other tight
And whisper I love you

Your warm soft body in my arms
As we lie under the stars
I gently stroke your hair
Your head upon my chest

Peacefull we sleep together
Forgetting about our cares
Slight smiles upon our faces
Our hands joined together

I believe in this dream
And I hope you do too
For if we both believe
Then all dreams can come true

WHAT YOU'RE MISSING
(August 20th, 2004)

All you see is black
And painted faces
Metal chains
And silver rings
And all you can think
Is how worthless we are

All you see is black
And a wasted life
Going nowhere
And doing nothing
Worthless people, you think
Who just don't care

All you see is black
And a person going nowhere

All I see is black
And what lies inside
An artist
And a poet
And all I can think
Is just how wrong you are

All I see is black
And the value of some
A musicianA designer
People worth knowing
Some who really care

All I see is black
And everything that you're missing

Hold On

(August 18th 2004)
Here in the black of night
There's nothing to hold onto
Tears fall unbidden
And dampen my pillow
Thoughts fill my head
Terrible, cynical thoughts
Nothing seems real anymore
There's nothing to believe in
And it's all impossible
We'll never be together
Regrets and doubts fill me
Dreams will never come true
Your photo by my side
Just stings all the more
As I know what I've found
And what I must be without

Then the wind blows in
And the posters ruffle
I see what I have written
And see the smile upon your face

Now in the black of night
I've found something to hold onto
And tears still fall unbidden
But for joy, not despair
Thoughts fill my head
Of a future, you and I together
Everything seems more real
And I believe in everything again
Now everything is possible
We'll always be together
All that fills me is certainty
That dreams can come true
Your photo by my side
Causes hope and love to swell in me
As I know what I have found
And will live without

Until the day comes
That I will be with you

SAVED(August 16th)
Here on the brink
About to give in
Forsake everything I am
Already starting to give in
Who cares about love anyways
And what good is feeling
When all I feel is pain
No, there's nothing to believe in
Nothing to rely on anymore
So burn the poems and burn the bridges
Forget these feelings and love
Nothing matters anyways

And then
Came a shout
From the past
Someone who believes
Someone who cares
And I was saved

Nothing's more important than love
And feeling is the best thing in the world
Reopen the links
Put pen to paper and write
Believe in myself and this feeling
The wonderful, joyous, indescribable feeling
Hold on to myself and what I am
Cherish every difference
Remember all the good times
And believe in the ones to come
Here's to hope, love and romance
May they live forever in me

THOUGHTS

Though I'm here
And so far away
Still I think of you
And dream of a future

Of holding you in my arms
Brushing your hair back
Gazing deep into your eyes
Running my fingers
Across your cheek

Of cuddling beside you
Your body warm against mine
Of feeling your heart beat
Running my fingers
Through your hair

Of dancing with you
Slowly across the room
A soft, slow song playing
Now pulling you closer
Towards me

Of a candlelit dinner
Your eyes sparkling in the light
Our hands meeting across the table
Our feet entwining
Beneath it

Of a park in the night
And us strolling hand in hand
Occasionally stop to kiss
And to hold you
In the night

Of falling asleep with you
Kissing you goodnight
Becoming lost within your eyes
Seeing a smile upon your face
That matchs the one on mine

Seems I can't stop thinking
About you and I together

Of a movie playing on the screen
And us sitting alone
Feeling the other breathing
Hearing their heart beat
Feeling it too

Of a nighttime of passion
You lying on the bed, so beautiful
Candles and incense lit
Loving you and kissing you
All through the night

Of lying in the grass
My arm around you
Just gazing at the stars
And at each other
All night long

Of you and I driving
To new and old places
Seeing this land and others
Exploring all that we want to
Together

Of us sitting by a river
Holding hands and smiling
The sun shining down upon us
The stream gurgling by
And then we kiss

Of walking through the woods
On a winter's eve
Stopping now to play in the snow
Then return to the fire
And to the warm water

Though I'm here
And so far away
Still I think of you
And dream of a future
Where we can explore our love

SEASHORE
(Aug 16th, 2004)
I see the two of us
Lounging by the sea
Purple sky to the west
Behind the setting sun
Black sky to the east
Filled with glowing stars

I turn to you and hold you
Press my lips to yours
Find your hand in the twilight
Whisper I love you in your ear
Gaze deep into your eyes
Hold you tight against my chest

Listen to your heart beat
Thump-thump, thump-thump
Listen to you breathing
In and out, in and out
Listen to the waves on the shore
Splish-splash, splish-splash

Now kiss me once more
And hold me tight against you
Say I love you one more time
For I must go now

Now I lie, surrounded by softness
And my room appears around me again
As I awake from my pleasent dream
Then a single tear falls from my eye
A tear of joy, for the love I have found
A tear of despair, for you cannot be here

So since you cannot be here
I'll content myself with thoughts and dreams
Of passion, romance and love
Of being able to hold you through the night
And of kissing you by the seashore
Until the day comes when these dreams come true

THE PERFECT NIGHT
(Aug 10th, 2004)

If I had just one night
To spend with you, my dear
What would I have us do
On this night, the perfect night
Where anything can be done

Strolling through changing leaves
Brisk night wind mussing our hair
Hand in hand, arm in arm
Lips upon ips in a passionate kiss
As we walk through the night

Sunset upon the water
Our footprints behind us in the sand
Slowly washing away
And the stars come out, we gaze in awe
Your head upon my chest

Lying in the grass alone
Totally seperate from the world
Listening to the other's heard beat
And gazing up at the stars
Hand in hand, arm in arm

Wandering the trails of night
Pure whiteness all around
No sounds, no noises, only silence
And the crunching of snow beneath our feet
As we wander these paths together

Sitting under a tree somewhere
Watching sheets of water pour around us
Lightning cracks, thunder rolls
As your lips find mine and my hand find yours
And we hold each other through the storm

Lying in the grips of passion
As rain pelts our window
Moving against each other in tandem
Silent noises of passion
Everything seeming so right

Sitting on the leather couch
Not doing anything at all
Just holding each other tight
Letting the moment, the feeling fill us
Everything seeming so right

The perfect night, it doesn't matter
What we do, where we are
Or whether we speak or not
The perfect night is perfect
As long as I'm with you

DAYDREAMS
(Aug 10th, 2004)

In the dim light of early morning
Or the moonlight of the night
I lie here upon my bed and gaze
At where I wish you could be

Then I smile and roll over
Begin to daydream again
Of you, of love, of life
Of a future I wish for

Your smiling, dreaming face beside me
The heat of your body next to mine
The sound of you beathing beside me
And the rhythem of your heart near mine

The texture of your skin
The feeling of your hair
The smile grows on my face
As the feeling grows inside me

Of walking and talking with you
Of going everywhere, seeing everything
Of holding you, kissing you
Hugging you and loving you

Of a future where we two
Are together, live together
Of the romance, the passion
This feeling inside still growing

And then I gaze back to the bed
And wish you were now here
Then I roll over onto my side
And begin to daydream once more

REVEALED(Aug 9th, 2004)
Been locked in the dark so long
I've forgotten the sun
Trapped in the rain for ages
And I can't remember clear skies

Been crawling for years and years
I've forgotten how to stand
Loved in the dark so long
I don't remember how to tell you

But now with you here again
I've remembered how to stand
And with love flowing once again
I remember how to tell you

I love you and I want you
I need you and I love you again

Now with you here once more
I've remembered the sun
And the rain's beginning to let up
And I begin to see clear skies

Maybe this is the end...
Of the pain, the suffering
The lonely nights by myself
Maybe this is the end

ALL I WANT

Holding you all through the night
By a fire on a winter's eve
Or outside on a summer's night
Just to gaze into your eyes

To kiss you good night
And then kiss you good morn
To dance in the moonlight
And whisper in the starlight

The nights of tender passion
And long walks upon a beach
Arm and arm, footprints behind us
Starlight shining upon us

So hold me close by the fire
And dangle our toes in the water
Cuddle with me in the darkness
And kiss me when we're in the light

Just to be close to you
Through a movie, a song, a dream
To see you, to hear you, to touch you
Even just to know you're there

All I want is
To have all this with you

Dreams Come True
(Aug 8th 2004)
The sky's cluttered with stars
As we dance below
And the rain begins to fall
The night more perfect as it goes

Twirling through the starshine
Dancing in the moonlight
Now sitting high above the shore
Whispering in the star light

Dancing on down the beach
Leaving our footsteps behind
Gazing deep into your eyes
How cruel fate can be so kind

So hold me close, hold me tight
Make this moment last forever
Pinch me, make sure I'm not asleep
Believe in this moment forever

Then with a start I awake
And see your smiling face
Cuddle closer, draw you near
Believe in you all dressed in lace
