An Intangible Gift
(Mar 15th, 2004)
Behold, behold
A gift more valuable than gold
More intangible than wind
Behold this gift of old
Raise it up on high
Shout its praises to the sky
Yet know it as a two faced coin
Maybe leave you high and dry
Know it as double edged sword
One blade cuts your foes
The other cuts your heart
And all is but chaos
Behold, behold
A gift more valuable than gold
Yet deadly as a knife
Behold this gift of old
And once you have recieved it
You should give it back
If it is yours to give
And not bequethed to another
Raise it up on high
Proudly tell the world
Loudly shout it out and
No harm will come from this
Sing its song forever
Proudly end it never
Yet always be aware
The other side of the sword
Behold, behold
A gift more valuable than gold
You who hear me now
Behold this gift of old
