TIME BORROWED
Eyes which see tomorrow
A curse which brings much sorrow
Leaves one feeling quite hollow
As one gazes upon the morrow
Her living on time borrowed
And time beginning to swallow
Her faith beginning to wallow
As he becomes too shallow

To sit and do nothing
As she puts on the ring
A curse but I must sing
His praises as a king
Then she sees a failing
While the sun is fading
Wants to do anything
To stop this way of ending

But in the end is nothing
No one can stop time's ticking
Only change the way it's flowing
And by such change the ending

My eyes which see tomorrow
A curse which brings me sorrow
Leaves me feeling quite hollow
As I gaze upon the morrow
