LIES

Some lies must be told
Some lies can be for surprises
Some lies ease the minds of others
Who worry without reason
But some lies should not be told
Yet I have told thee one
The same one you told me
Oh sweet bitter irony
Not to tell you is my lie
Tell you of my love
For you, yes you
You of brown eyes and brown hair
If only there was a way
That we could be together
I'd tear this necklace off
And throw it to the river
Yet you love another

To find our first loves
