I BELIEVE

Though storms may blow
Though mountains may crumble
Though pi may never be found
I believe

Through wind and rain
Through snow and sleet
Through fire and hell itself
I believe

Though I may falter
Though I may twist and turn
Though I may not believe today
I believe

Through disbelief
Through distance and time
Through heartache and lonliness
I believe

Through all of the tests and perils of time
And though we are so very far apart
I know it, you know it, that really in my heart
I believe in you and me and this dream

MOONLIT IRIS
(Nov 18th)

The music starts
The world goes round
You're pulled to your feet
As I begin to sing

And I'd give up forever to touch you
'Cause I know that you'd feel me somehow
You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't want to go home right now

Silently and smoothly
We twirl around in moonlight
Nothing beneath our feet
Only love within our eyes

And all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breath is your life
And sooner or later it's over
I just don't want to miss you tonight

Then together we being to refrain
As slowly outside there is rain
Loudly we sing from our hearts
As we dance in the moonlight

And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am

Slowly we turn around
Tears falling from our irises
Tears of joy, tears for beauty
Tears that come from our hearts

And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Nor the moments of truth in your lies
When everything feels like the movies
Yeah you bleed just to know you're alive

Then together we sing again
Hands entwining, feet twirling
Hearts beating quickly together
Gazing deep into your eyes

And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am

Spin out, spin in
Feet moving faster now
Love still deep in your iris
Eyes still locked upon yours

Love, they can't see us
Who cares if they don't understand
I've never wanted the earth nor the moon
All I've ever wanted is you

And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am

The music comes to an end
We stop and sit together
Knowing the music plays on forever
In our hearts and in "I love you"

SING ME A SONG

There are no words that I can write
There is no song that I can sing
There is no play that I can perform
There is no poem that I can read

No painting that I may paint
No drawing that I may draw
No tune that I may hum
No tale that I may spin

Not a single poem I've ever written
Not a single song I've ever sung
Has ever come close to telling you
What I've felt inside all along

How will you know
What I mean when I
Say that I love you?
You just have to know

For I know you feel the same
I've seen it within your eyes
When I say I love you
I know you know what I mean
